Great bunch of folks. These are the kind of people that you KNOW are trying to help you control the animal population. Most vets are about the money. No money, no service. But here at MARC they help low income folks spay/neuter at a lower cost and help those with financial issues make payments. Thank you MARC folks!!

I just adopted a puppy. I'll start out by saying she's extremely sweet and has the temperament we were looking for. However, her profile and the lady I spoke with said she was housebroken. She is NOT (not even remotely close). I completely understand when adopting a puppy, a lot of patience is required, but I was looking for a dog of any age that was already housebroken (temperament and mature size were my priority). For a $350 adoption fee for a rescue (not a purebred), I feel that this should have been standard initial training... especially since I was already told that in the first place. I was completely willing to do all of the other needed proper training.nnIn addition, when I got there, it was complete and utter chaos. There were many families that arrived at the same time. Puppies were running everywhere as the lady in charge was hurrying all of us to sign paperwork. She was also microchipping every dog that day on the spot.nnI barely got two questions out (that I had to yell to ask) without feeling that I had any real one on one time to really get to know more about the pup. She also didn't have her spay date on the paperwork and couldn't remember, so she put any date that she thought it could be on there.nnDid I also mention that before I could even meet the pup, I had to put down a $50 nonrefundable deposit in order to secure the adoption before driving 2 hours later that week to officially adopt?nnAs an adopter, we rely solely on the organization and foster to provide as much detailed and accurate information as possible in order to help us make the best decision when expanding our family (as well as making sure the pup can thrive in his or her environment).

Let me start off by saying, that Marc is an amazing organization. I have had both of my dogs spayed through Marc and microchipped. So after having such a great experience with them in the past, we decided to adopt a dog and it was the best decision we could’ve ever made. Our sweet girl is the best puppy. Thank you to everyone at Marc!!
