Tulsa County Social Services

Was there for 5 months. Great staff! Willing to help. Felt very safe and secure. Follow the rules and you will be fine. They don't let you just lay around, they push you to do better. Just what I needed. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. It's clean, and the food was, for the most part, great!

The staff here need more empathy for the people seeking their help. There is video proof of a conversation showing how rude and insensitive the staff and the manager are. They gossip about other residents to other residents and you basically have to kiss butt just to stay on in their good grace. I found housing all on my own, I did not get help finding housing for myself and my children. Really, I received more help from outside organizations than I did from Tulsa county social services because Everytime I asked them, they didn't have any resources for me. As they claimed. There is alot of favoritism and unfairness going on. You would think that someone working with people in need would have their best interest at heart but no.. Not at Tulsa county emergency shelter.nThe truth will be revealed. And I will not be silenced.

Not allowed in building. Had to call and wait outside. Person answering the phone rude and acted like she couldn't be bothered. It's never been like this before.

This place offered me safety & security when i had no-one. I'll be forever greatful & thankful for the way they helped me.

This place sucks, they treat u like a prisoner. U sleep on a small cot its not even a real mattress. They feed u cereal almost every morning. Most of the staff is rude.. they moved me from one room to another room that was not safe for my 3 kids. The sink was about to fall out of the wall, the shower wasn't draining and the doorknob came off when I was trying to get out my room and i was stuck in there until the staff had to let me out.. that's dangerous if a fire broke out i wouldn't of been able to get out with my kids. I expressed my concern with the caseworker and I told her why she didn't want to move me back to my original room I was in. She said it was all the same I told her I didn't want to be in the room and told her it wasn't safe for my kids and she kicked me out... Because I told her if my kids get hurt in the room I'm in now and since she refused to move me then I would sue them for keeping me in a dangerous room.. they also make ur kids go every 5 hours without eating. They don't offer snacks and they won't let u keep food or drinks in ur room for ur kids. They said u need a doctor's note in order for u to give ur kids snacks between meals...
