Since it's been a while and since I publicized them on Facebook recently, I'll give my review. I live at the corner of Locust city limits on the Cabarrus side. Never called them for service but once, but I've known many officers and the department itself for my whole life. The street address is named after Officer Ray Kennedy, who died on duty many years ago. I was friends with his son and Ray too, as I grew up in church with them. One fine man and officer, and do are the current ones too. From experience, nobody likes getting caught doing anything wrong (and at many points, we ALL have/do). It is human nature to not want to tell the truth, because it often hurts or embarrasses us. If one of these things led to you not liking the department, then I can't help you. But remember this.... when YOU need them, they will STILL come, even if you hate them and told them so 5 minutes before. Trust me....I know.
