When our family moved to Wilmington last year, finding the right school for our son was our number one priority. We chose Friends because we wanted to to send our son to a school that focused on educating him as whole person, not just the academic aspect. I cannot stress this enough, FSOW has exceeded our expectations. The teachers are passionate about education and our son is challenged by them, they have a thorough understanding of where he stands academically and the work he is given reflects that. I love and appreciate that the kids are being taught social and environmental lessons and learning to care for the planet and our society. This school is truly a gem.
This school seems like it would be a great place, but I can’t get anyone on the phone to answer my questions; they just transfer me around until the line automatically hangs up with no option to leave a message, and they won’t answer any questions and are uninterested in speaking with you when there is a real person on the line. “Check out our website for possibly anything and everything you would want to know about the school,” they say!
