Wilmington Police Department - Southeast Patrol Division

I was recently pulled over for speeding and I did receive a speeding ticket from officer M S Brannnon. This officer was professional, courteous and helpful with information. Although my interaction with this officer cost me around $223, his demeanor and professionalism was a huge factor in me pulling away with a smile on my face. Thank you officer Brannon and & thanks to your fellow Leo's for all you do and all you risk for our community. Thank you!

I have to say, I’m a little shocked at the low rating. These officers have never done anything other than help me when I’ve needed it. They may not be able to solve every problem, but they help all they can. They’re very patient and calm. I can’t imagine how difficult their job is every day. Thank you WPD, you are appreciated.

Congrats on front page of reddit. Demotion, really? Get it together. With that being said, I back the police when they protect and serve.

Not my favorite PD but they helped me out of a tough spot. I got caught breaking into my mother in law's house to get back a ring that she took from my wife that I am currently separated from. My father in law came in during the middle of it and we got into a little scuffle that ended with both of us in the hospital. Instead of charging me with everything possible, they cut me a break and only charged me with the assault on my father in law, and he later dropped the charges because he found out my wife is pregnant with his first grandchild! I got the ring back also, because WPD offered to escort me into the home to get my property. I unfortunately had to pawn the ring last week to pay for my clinic bills and buy some extra naloxone.nnThanks for everything you guys do!
