First time visiting the Latimer House and I definitely wasn't disappointed. Awesome historical treasure.
I toured three historic homes, all with great tour guides. All three are supervised by this well run organization.
The home was beautiful and the period furniture was quite interesting to see. It is definitely worth a visit if you are interested in this topic and have 45-50 minutes to spare. I am giving this home/museum 4 instead of 5 stars mostly because of the tour. Out of the three homes that we toured on this day this tour was the shortest and most inconvenient. Tours are given on the hour and end earlier in the day than other similar tours. The schedule was very strict even though we were the only ones to see the house during the time we were there. The guide seemed quite friendly and knowledgeable about the property, but seemed rushed during the tour. If you have the time and meet the schedule this is worth a stop, but other homes would be higher in priority on my to-see list.
