If you like trains, this should be on your list. Set up to represent the earlier days of Mebane, the model has a bunch of tracks, numerous trains running and very detailed surroundings. Do not miss the Christmas tree decorated seasonally with two working trains running under and through the tree. Make note when you're there that this was one man's collection that he willed to the city when he crossed into the clearing. Very fun trip

A really neat place. Cool model train display
The train displays were great and the staff were friendly. The train show/market was good for its small size.
Pretty cool, around back there are public bathrooms and a sand volleyball court, some picnic tables, the dog I was walking loves it for a place to cool off.
