Officer Mendoza of the Jacksonville Police Dept.was great in helping my wife and I tonight. My wife hit a tire and rim on NC24 near Lejuene’s main gate. He arrived promptly, was helpful to us and very reassuring to my wife.nHis professionalism, caring and personal manner was exemplary. Thank you, sir! You are a fine example of a public servant.

Zero help whatsoever. Wife got a ticket driving my new truck with the tag out. No issue there, I realized it last week and have to go next day off. In the wrong and deserving of the ticket. But racked on is no inspection when I have the inspection paper in the truck. Officer said usually gets dropped as long as it’s fixed before court. So I call to ask how to go about that and whoever I got on the phone has zero skills in talking with people other than cutting you off with an attitude repeating sir sir sir until you stop talking. Told me if it’s a fix it ticket or has a court date which I said court date and attempted to ask how to go about showing it’s done. But no luck getting any sort of information other than “go to court”. Sure let me go to court to hopefully drop the ticket with proof it’s done to then have court costs thrown in if it’s even dismissed..... usually you can go to county office or something of the sort without going to an actual court hearing. Probably still the case but call center doesn’t want to give any information on how to handle things. Can’t be bothered to help someone. I know everyone’s worried about their paychecks but damn talk to me like I’m a human at least when I’m being polite and inquiring for something that is your area of expertise not mine. Overall the cop that stopped my wife from my understanding was professional and my issue is not there other than the 90 dollar additional ticket I shouldn’t have received. But the call center was of no help whatsoever.

I went today to get finger prints. The lady who took my money was polite. I did not have to wait long at all and the gentleman who did my prints was very kind with me and my daughter. There was a box of toys in the fingerprint room for her to play. I was very satisfied with my experience.

WA Hollis pulled me over in 3 lanes of traffic under that old iron bridge said he zapped me at 67. Mind you he was talking to another cop plus had his zap gun upside down. Cars in front of me behind me beside me. I told him I was not going that speed. What's your hurry? I'm taking my 78 yr old mom to see her very sick 83 yr old sister. She had heart attack 11pm. He was a straight up jerk. Had my father that has dementia wasn't with me I would have said more. He saw my ALABAMA TAG. PERIOD. WHAT A SHAME THAT OUT OF TOWNERS ARE TARGETED IN JACKSONVILLE!

They’re absolutely rude!! I have never once touched a drug in my life, and to be accused of such because they ‘smelled’ it while cruising through my neighborhood was just so disrespectful! They demanded personal information to identify me which I had no problem giving them but when I refused to give my phone number the woman stated that she wasn’t asking me for it, and then demanded me to give it to her (and if I’m correct I believe I don’t even have to say a single word to them). The woman wasn’t even going to give my ID back until I asked? I have never felt more disrespected before in my life! I’ve never had a problem with law enforcements before, but the sense of entitlement they feel is just disgusting.
