Always happy with the outcome of my dry cleaning clothes I give them to service.
If I could give them a zero, I would!! They stole my designer pants that were purchased in New York and then they didn’t want to pay me for them. The owner gave me not even a small portion of the cost then offered me a store credit. With no other recourse, I accepted. I put my last set of clothing in the cleaners before COVID 19. I checked weekly, but they were always closed. I finally went there today to pick up my clothes and to my surprise they were open. When I told the owners son I had a credit, he said I can’t let you take the clothes because I don’t have proof of what you are saying. Why did I have to tell him to call his father for this information? When speaking with the owner, he says to me, “do you know how long ago that was?” I then took my clothes and left. I trusted this business with my property for over three years and I am disappointed that they are not a trusted business. They allowed my property to disappear without ever being found or acknowledging their responsibility of my property. Then, for the owner to suggest I took too long to pick up my clothes, even though there is a pandemic going on and people are still home bound, I can only see how unprofessional and uncaring this establishment is. I am one customer that will no longer choose to trust this business with my property.
