Laundry 101

I have used the Fork Laundry several times this summer and have been very pleased. The building is old, but the business is clean and the machines work well; machines which do not work are clearly marked. The attendant is always friendly and helpful. Large machines make the job easy; dryers are very efficient.

I think this is the typical laundry mat. This looks great compared to where I did wash in college. It is expensive but the washers are huge and I could do all our clothes for$5.25. if you want 2 smaller machines to separate clothes it will be$8.50. dryers are efficient and cost an additional $2.00. There are folding tables and baskets on wheels. Machines which are out of order are marked. I was there early in the morning and there was an attendant. My experience was fine. Masks required.

Not my first time to use Laundry 101 while in the area. My cloth come out clean and smelling great. I really like the fact L101 has a inhouse laundry service. I'm staying in Sekui WA at Straitside resort which is a great place to stay.

Most expensive washers and dryers I’ve seen. Dryer did dry mostly everything except a couple sweatshirts in 16 minutes.nnWoman was rude to us and said we couldn’t use the drying rack to dry our wet shirts because she had locals who use it. There was only one other person in the building and they didn’t need the drying rack.

Just moved here to Forks. While waiting for my furniture to arrive I used this laundromat. As others have mentioned, several machines are broken but there wasnt a wait for the operable machines. Price is $3.50-$5.50 based on which machine and temperature you choose. The attendant came out and explained the machines and there are signs everywhere telling you directions and what order to do things. This is important enough to mention because if you cant pause machine to add detergent or bleach or add that sock that dropped on floor like you can with a regular machine. Three stars because the machines dont do that good of a job. A single set of sheets in one machine on hot, a small load of mostly yoga clothes and a towel in the other. Items are only moderately clean and not well rinsed, sheets still reek of bleach. My cheap friend just tossed his clothes in a bucket, swished a bit and they came out just as clean but he as an extra $10 bucks for beer. :/
