Lingerfeldt Elementary School

As a concerned parent my child is in the second grade and from the first day of school it has been nothing but problems at this school. From being harrassed on the bus to being bullied in school. I have went to the school and complained about my child and the abuse that he has endured at this school and nothing has changed. The assistant principal seems to not care and always say he will look into it and follow up with me but I never received a call back. The teacher says that my child shouldnt go around bad kids. I am so confused because gaston county schools are supposed to be bullying free. My son loves school but comes home making statements like he hate this school. The lunch ladies attitude sucks they refused to count my childs quarters to put on his account. My child has come home hungry because the lunch staff refused to feed him I still waiting on a follow up call from principal Bradley pertaining that situation. This school makes all of gaston county schools look bad. It is not the students it is the staff. They have the lowest ratings in gaston county. Why is it still open. I wish I knew about this school I would've never purchased my home in this school district. As a tax payer of gaston county i wish this school would get new staff, control over bullying, and better attitudes toward their students and stop putting kindergarten students in the office because they don't know how to handle these little children. My child has been getting bullied and when he finally defends his self he gets suspended. I am disgusted with this school parents beware this school will tear your childs self esteem down. Do Not Send Your Child To This School. My next stop is to the news station something must be done.

The office staff at this school is by the far the WORST!!!!! I dread having to call the school, and try to avoid having to go there just so I don't have to deal with them and their nasty attitude. Mrs. Bradley is never genuine with her words, and always promising to look into things and give you a call back.... but never does!!!! My child has had continuous problems being bullied by the same individuals all year and nothing was done. I will be so happy when I don't have to deal with this school/staff anymore.nOn a positive note, my child's teacher has been the only thing good come from this school!!!!!!

This has to be the worst school in Gastonia county seems to me that the teachers are there for a check and not the education of out children since the first day of school I've had an issue and they love to single children out. Get a staff that's concerned about a child's future and not a paycheck!!!! Furious mom
