Real Homes

I have had a couple of different business dealings with Jon and his crew at Real Homes, and I am always impressed.nnThe first time was to have a custom house built. The crew took my sketches from graph paper and turned it into my dream house for FAR less than what a custom home like it would have cost to build. I was always kept informed of progress, and Jon went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the finished home.nnA few years later (now) I sold the home to downsize some... I know I sold my dream home. Anyway, I was going to have quite a wait to get a home built, but Jon had a remodeled home in my size and price range for sale. He made me a very fair deal. After I got moved in, an issue came up, and even though he had no legal obligation to help, he pitched in and made sure that I felt everything was fair.nnI would definitely recommend Real Homes Wenatchee and Jon Port to anyone interested in having an affordable new home built. We had a wonderful experience building with Jon back in 2013. Fast forward to 2020 and we sold our house and the only “issues” the inspector found was a deadbolt that didn’t strike perfectly and a slight leak in the kitchen faucet.nnTo be honest both of these small issues were my fault!nnI feel like this is a testimony to the quality of these houses. What a great company helping folks with quality, affordable houses in our valley.nnI would recommend Real Homes to anyone.

Bought a home that was built by real homes 3 years ago and father built with them as well. Not sure if it’s by design recommended to stay in budget by Real Home or electrical contractors suggestions. But my electricity wiring is a joke. Freezer in garage always flips the breaker. Outside outlets are in series with the master bedroom wiring and cannot keep my 12 Amp compressor on the breaker flips in minutes. Same experience with powered saw. In law has has issues with kitchen breaker constantly being flipped. Appliances must not be on their own line. Beyond frustrating.

After interviewing quite a few builders for a custom home we ended up using Real Homes and couldn’t be happier with the process with Jon Port, from start to finish. On time and on budget!! Real Homes customized one of their existing plans to fit our needs and our lot. We are very happy with our home and will definitely be having Real Homes build our additional expanded garage.
