What a beautiful place, hard to believe it was a amusement park back in the early 19 hundred. 1906 till 1940 with roller coasters and every thing else ferry boat. The trolley would pick you up at Howard street, round trip was 30 cents. You really need to check out the history. Swimming and cookouts and just plain old family fun is still there today. Don't forget the fishing rods
Beautiful escape from the big city. Decent wind surfing, plenty of nice beachfront. Great geology, fossils everywhere!
Good place for short hiking, good place to see sunset, sunrise ..
It's better when the crowds are gone. Great place to walk a dog. Since the pandemic outbreak more people means more trash. I'm amazed at the people who feel it's their right to just throw their trash on the ground. Extremely disturbing. I will never understand why.
It was just nice to be out.
