The Opelousas Tourist Information Center is situated within beautiful park like campus of unique historical buildings and the staff really made me feel welcome in a genuinely warm and friendly way!

A cool place to spend time and learn about history
I noticed that slaves were noticeably absent.
I was here in March of 2017. The people there were informative and were able to tell us some of the local history. They gave us coffee, which is always a plus. The different buildings in the area were neat. There was a large tour that came through when we were leaving so they do those as well.
