I was traveling with a group of 48 people and had to call in orders for all of them when we were only an hour away. The woman I talked to was so respectful and sweet, and they had our crazy order right on time with each bag labeled by name! Awesome location!
The swish mushroom burger was excellent it was a double Patty. plenty of mushrooms. hamburger a little bit of gristle overall pretty good. First time I've had it.
Walked in as the heavy traffic in drive thru gave me hopes of fresh F.F and burgers, so I walked over from the TA and when I walked inside, the place had this smell of really old grease and dirty mop. I walked right back out. I've worked many year's in the restaurant industry before becoming a long haul truck driver and I'm familiar with that smell and when you don't take care of your store, you definitely aren't putting quality out the door. Hard pass for me.
The food wasn't bad tho the fries looked old and the burger that my friend got was cold. I told them that i was eating in. They called for me to go get it and it was in bags. I told them i was eating in. The lady looked at me crazy. I'm not lazy so i didn't care that i had to go get it but i could do without the attitude. You don't like you job that's on you. Don't take it out on the customer.
Never had Whataburger before, and now I understand the hype. The Sweet and Spicy burger was amazing, and very good Onion Rings. I also really enjoyed the Dr. Pepper shake.
