After months of negotiations with our LOI, we had a gentleman's agreement and handshake on rent for one of their commercial properties in downtown Monroe (they refused to sign anything, and now I know why). They came back a month later raising the rent and telling me to do a large part of the renovations. They didn't try to negotiate at that point either. Be careful doing business with them.

In the last 20 Years I have had MANY interactions and business dealings with Broad Street and it's owners. They have always said what they were going to do and done it..with or without a contract. There are no worries with them.
