Spend the day taking in an unforgettable art collection and life of the Ringling Brothers. The art guides are knowledgeable historians about the Ringling as well as all of the art. A beautiful, one-of-kind museum you will want to return to again and again.

The Sarasota Art Museum is excellent. They have a rotating collection of modern art and they have an adjacent restaurant that is awesome! I highly recommend getting a membership (they are very affordable) and supporting our local arts community.

Initial expectations were low, but was pleasantly surprised by the museum. Staff members were very pleasant and helpful and the exhibits were amazing. The colored plexiglass exhibit on the 3rd floor was very cool. The only criticism is it would be nice to have more details with each of the paintings. If you visit have lunch at the Bostro - very good.

Not worth it, especially with kids. Some part of it interesting for adults.

Janaini Tschape exhibit “Between the Sky and the Water” is deep and the colors rich. The new museum is perfect for her monumental paintings and films. This renowned German/Brazilian artist has captured the waves in “Melantropics” filmed in Rio and “Blood, Sea” filmed at Weeki Wachee. Sarasota High school new museum venue is a success. Good COVID precautions. Vets get in free and the Cafe has exquisite food.
