Upon starting to work at Merchant One I was optimistic and excited to grow with the company, Everything looked perfect to begin with until I was micromanaged to a degree I never knew possible to cold call people who didn’t want to be called. So after hours of being screamed at for calling so many times (out of our control) the manager will come to you and make you feel bad because you didn’t “pitch them” correctly. Simply put, you’re just a number, you don’t make the number they want you’re OUT. I watched 3 people quit because of this manager. I’m surprised I didn’t, but don’t worry they handled that after I had one bad day. The CEO is a good guy but needs to pay more attention to how his manager treats his LOA’s and Loan processors because I’ve seen a couple people cry from him, and he makes a simple job living hell.

I highly recommend Merchant One Mortgage if you're thinking about refinancing your house. Not only was Michael very thorough and explained EVERYTHING line by line with me, but more importantly they were able to get me a lower interest rate when two other companies weren't able to! Thanks again!

Ive been in my home for the past 30 years and I will stay here forever! They helped me with a HECM so I can live comfortably and stay in my home because im on a fixed income.

An excellent company, sincere, and on your side. I talked to Richard to refinance my home in Lakeland, he explained everything and I was always able to reach him with any questions I may have had through the process.
