She had my place listed for over a year with two renewed listings. All this time she was in a verbal agreement with me for a referral fee. In the past i have given her a referral fee based on our verbal agreement. When the property closed she refused and kept all the money for herself. Do Not Trust this person with one of the biggest investments you will be making. If she will burn a friend she has know for over 23 years she will burn you too if she can make a buck. ..................Answering the Grifter......On her POST BELOW...... Darlene Leverenz did little to nothing for the closing of my property for the short sale. She only visited the property once in the whole time it was listed (close to a year) I was going through a bankruptcy at the time. I knew The mortgage company does pay the realtor fee but most likely would not pay the whole 11k to me. They usually for a property worth 400k will give 3k to 5k cash for keys. I could have stayed in the property and just let the bank foreclose. FREE RENT. It was to the banks advantage to do a short sale. The whole time Darlene Leverenz told my/our Broker of Luxury and Beach JULIE, was fine with the referral of commission. We usually get paid at closing. When I received the closing papers and saw that the mortgage company had a clause that said stated I wasn't receiving any funds. I immediately wanted to cross that out and initial letting them know that I was receiving a 5500 referral fee. Please keep in mind that DARLENE LEVERENZ knew this the WHOLE TIME. That was our agreement. She NEVER ONCE told me it was illegal. . I called Darlene and told her I am crossing that out and initialing it. She SCREAMED over the phone DON'T DO THAT. Let me call JULIE and ask her. Don't ruin the closing papers. She called me back and told me that Julie also said don't mark up the closing documents that she would just pay the referral fee from the office. SO not only did this person stab a long time friend in the back. She lied to me for over a year. During that time I also re-listed it with her. She called so WORRIED that I would list it myself since the bankruptcy was over. I told her over the phone I would NEVER do that to you a friend. And I re-listed it with her. BEWARE MONEY IS HER GOD and for some reason she never seems to have much of it..
