Unprofessional, confrontational, and only willing to enforce the laws that suit them. Quick to judge people and their situations without investigation of any kind. Obvious that they only care about instilling fear in teenagers and not about actually helping them.

They don't actually know the law and won't even help people who are trying to make situations better. Because you don't apparently need a license to be a case manager, and embezzlement is totally fine, as is stealing personal belongings

We reported the theft of my partner’s kayak with proof as to who stole it and even after multiple attempts to get ahold of the officer who took the report, we heard nothing and couldn’t get in contact with anyone. Now that person is still walking around without any repercussions after stealing and selling our property.

I love the Kennewick Police Department. The officers are professional and courteous. Every contact I’ve had with them has always left me feeling positive.

Kpd needs to learn the freaking laws. Tried telling us that you can’t have a bullet in the chamber. KNOW YOUR LAWS! It pays to know.
