Dream Vacation Rentals

We just had the most amazing weekend in Sanibel. The condo was immaculate, beautiful decor, very clean, just like a hotel but better because you get the common area and kitchen. Right on the beach. The condo was very toddler friendly, not a ton of breakable decor we had to worry about. Loved having the smart TVs in every room. Already planning out our next trip in October. Ryan was very professional and responds to messages right away. He was very accommodating to our requests to check in early and out later. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

I am sharing my close family’s experience of this company as a warning to others who may consider booking.nnBeware! This company does not do honest business!!!nnI booked and paid for a stay with this company at the end of March 2020. That is when Covid shut everything down. Dream vacation rentals (Ryan) refused to refund my money, but offered me an extension until June 2021. Covid is still going strong, so I asked for an extension until the end of this year (2021) to allow time for vaccinations (only asking for 6 more months). My mother is an at-risk person and would prefer to travel once she has been vaccinated. Ryan, with Dream Vacation Rentals, who claims to be a Christian-based company, will not extend my $1300 credit, nor will they refund my money. He specifically said the property owner told him not to extend or refund. Dream vacation rentals, in Sanibel, is a bunch of thieves. How can they take someone’s money and not provide a service, especially when the CDC and government is telling people NOT TO TRAVEL???nnI have begged Dream Vacation Rentals (Ryan) to reconsider, because that was the money that we saved to vacation. The company does not care. They got paid! So sad especially in today’s times.

There is no guarantee we will see any improvement with Covid in a few months. You are quick to claim to be family/Christian business yet look at how you are treating the families who have already paid you and just want to remain safe and healthy by waiting a bit longer to travel. Who is hurt by this scenario since you have already gotten paid? This is extremely poor business and truly heartless.

The team at Dream are great to work with! They've helped many of our clients at McCallion & McCallion Realty either rent their homes in their program or at least provide a proforma of potential rental income they could earn.nnThey have very nice properties on island, and offer top-notch customer service to both their owners and their renters (which is no small feat!). Keep up the great work guys!

Covid threw a wrench in our group's travel plans as we had rented a Captiva home last March. Ryan and his team helped us first to reschedule then, when because of matters out of their control, assisted us in getting our rental money back when the home was no longer available. Their communications with us were professional and very responsive. We will not hesitate to use them in the future when we can travel again!
