My son enjoyed this school and it seemed to do well there were to many issues going on with financing and faculty to the point that i would not have my son come back but the staff that was present for 18 to 19 school year was very pleasant and the teachers work hard for thw children its sad to see a black owned school with so much potential go to waste due to lack of proper management and hiring processes.

I recently attended a meet and great at the school, and was impressed by the Faculty and the Curriculum! I'd been looking for a more personal and child centered school for my 8 yr. old since we left SJCDS. Public school (Patterson Elementary) just wasn't living up to our expectation: No Music, Very little Arts, No Theater, just common CORE :( . After touring OPPAA and talking with the staff, I think that my little girl will grow and learn more at this school than Patterson Elementary. We are looking forward to the opportunities to attend dance, music, theater - both on stage and behind the scene education. In addition to that, they are using Google Chrome Book's this year! I will be able to see my girls progress in real time. They are a forward looking institution and we are very excited to start this fall.
