A little frustrating when you see their emergency response pickup trucks (truck #2) taking advantage of using the siren. A gentleman just used the siren to get through traffic (that wasn't even that bad) on Warwick (6:30 p.m. on 24 Sep) only to get past all of the cars, turn off the siren, and sit at a light texting on his phone. We all moved over, we all took it seriously, only to see the driver abuse the lights and use them just to get cars out of his way. Fire department drivers should know better than to text and drive. I have the utmost respect for first responders and it is so sad to see one taking advantage of his position.
