Less than 3 weeks away from closing and the experience has been amazing from the sales representative (Erika) and project manager (Don) to the entire build process. I feel very confident in what i am buying, the work done appears to be very good and what was expected. This is just a starter home and hope to build my forever home with Ryan Homes in the future.
The boat landing at HOP YARD is a public landing, and is NOT owned by Ryan homes or the community. Stop trying to claim it, and make it a selling point for your community. There is a reason why people always say “buy a Ryan and you will be crying”. One of the worst home builders out there!! They buy a piece of land, build 1000 mediocre homes on it, charge a premium, and leave you holding the bill when it falls apart in two years.nI did a walk through in two of their communities and noticed so many flaws in the homes. I even pointed some out with one of their salesman, just to be told “well it’s not finished yet”. What does that have to do with using to using improper materials for some of the framing and roofing? Good luck to anyone who owns one of their homes. I walked away and will never look back.
They may the process super smooth. It was my first time buying a house and had no one to ask to guide me to this process. Didn't use a realtor, but they all helped me through the process, everything it was as clear as water. No hidden fees and a full explanation of each step. They made it possible right before the pandemic. My wife and I love our new home. It is our best decision and another step in life.
Oh boy where do I begin?? This is our first home and after viewing over 50 homes our relator suggested we take a “peak” at the Simply Ryan’s. I was never fond of “cookie cutter” homes but when I walked into the Elm model and greeted by Kelly, my mouth dropped. I said “Wait, this would be MY home?” We were shown the Elm, Birch, and Aspen. We are a married couple with no kids and the Elm was the perfect fit for us. We signed that day with a projected move date 5 months out. We broke ground 3 months later and we moved in 10 days earlier than projected. To say this experience was exceptional, enjoyable, easy, and we made some friends is an understatement. Kelly and her team went above and beyond for us. We are more than happy and if you’re thinking about it. Stop. Just do a tour, meet the team, and I promise you’ll fall in love!
We began looking for our home in January... I never thought we would be able to build our own home. Stopped by Hopyard just to peek! I fell in love. Kelly helped us so much and answered all our questions! She was very patient with me as I changed my mind and went back and forth between elevations and options while staying in our budget! Our beautiful dream home was ready by June! My project manager Don was the best project manager we could have asked for! He kept us informed and always sent weekly pictures! With COVID things worked a bit different and they made sure they could accommodate us every step of the way! We love our home and the neighborhood! Thank you Ryan Homes of Hopeyard for everything!
