Horrible and a very sad place to put your loved one !! Mostly agency nurses because they can't keep a normal staff. Smells horrible and the food is disgusting..On many occassions covid and noncovid residents are placed in the same room ! Why would anyone place there loved one here when it cost just the same for a better long term care home that you can trust..
I used to work here and I would never in a million years send any of my family here. They are highly disrespectful, one day someone even got mad at the nurse for not changing her and she left her there and told someone else to do it. They are mistreated and yelled at for simply needing help. Not to mention the attitudes. I needed help one time and one if the nurses told me That it was my job she isn’t doing it. (Cleaning then up) and that’s what I’ve was there to do. Highly disgusting. Please find somewhere else to put your relative. They do not do their job and most need to be fired. I don’t recommend.
The activities director and entire staff at Amelia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center are absolutely the best. Thank you for taking such great care of the patients and for all you do. You are appreciated more than you could ever imagine.

A patient I cared for was sent to this nursing home from the hospital and came back to hospital one week later with new pressure ulcers and sepsis.
