Its a great festival gone so many years always fun
I grew up going to Sweet Pea every summer. For years I have rearranged my summer schedule to make sure I could be in town for this festival. It has grown so much over the years - every year there are new and better events. Now I take my children to everything from Chalk on the Walk during Sweet Pea Week to Music on Main, to the Festival itself. Make sure to get your wristbands in advance - the price is a total steal if you buy early.
Lots of fun.
Would be better if they showcased local artists more.
Pay to get in to pay for everything else (mostly junk). Mostly tourists attend.
