Montana Llama Guides of Bozeman

My wife and I booked the Bozeman ranch tour and picnic (rather than one of the Livingston-based hiking trips). Dennis, the proprietor, was really attentive to our preferences and helped sculpt the right kind of experience for us.nnWe were able to spend some time visiting with the baby llamas (and cute dogs) and feed the herd some alfalfa pellets, then we made our way over to the male llama pasture where we chose our llama guide for the day, helped brush them and put their special backpacks on, and then go on a hike to a picnic lunch in the nearby public land.nnThe llamas are so cute, quirky, and charming. It's a uniquely compelling experience to walk the trail with them. Dennis is really thoughtful and engaging. He set out a beautiful picnic lunch selection, and we had a great time talking to him about llamas and his experience as an outdoorsmen.nnI highly recommend visiting the Bozeman llama ranch for a fun and special excursion. It's great for families or adults looking for a novel activity.

Went on an afternoon hike from Sage Lodge with the llamas. After a short short safety breifing we each got to pick our llamas and started on our hike. Our guide Noah was informative about the history of the area and very friendly and professional, and he's great with kids. The llamas are fun and so cute, and everyone bonded well with theirs. It was hard to say goodbye after the hike. Highly recommend this unique experience!
