Five stars, no doubt!! We went as four adults with no kids and had a blast. This would be so fun with families. It was SO COOL to drive through and see the animals, they were so happy and seemed like they have a great life there. The walking portion was great also, it wasn’t huge but it was big enough to feel like it was well worth the money. I would recommend it to anyone ❤ufe0f
We love this place! Well worth the expense and drive from Phoenix.nWe’ve been twice and always stay the entire day, driving through multiple times.nThe staff is amazing and friendly, also knowledgeable about the animals.nIt is also a dream for handicap accessibility. My husband doesn’t walk well. They have complimentary wheelchairs that you can use if you need to (so nice to not have to bring our own). Also, there is lots of seating everywhere-so it’s easy to take breaks. Ramps everywhere (except one gift shop). Plus the drive through portion is perfect.nThank you Bearizona! We will be back to see the baby grizzlies again!
Loved watching the baby bears and the otters. The staff was friendly and our kids loved it. Lots of extras such as sit down restaurant, great gift shop, alcoholic beverages, food truck. If you like animals you will find something great to see here. Price was pretty steep. 100 for a car of 4.
Pleasantly surprised! We were hit hard with snow as we were about to go to the Grand Canyon, so we had a day to kill. Wife decided we should go here and I was concerned it would be just another boring, expensive zoo, but agreed to go. I do believe it was worth the cost. There are two portions-- driving and walking. The driving part goes through various sections with different animals (mountain goats, deer, wolves, bears, bison, donkeys, etc.). I was impressed and surprised that there were several animals in most pens (one of the wolves was separated and alone and I believe there were only two donkeys and two goats). They had quite a few bears (sometimes you had to look up in the trees as they were sleeping 10-20 feet up in the air!) and buffalo. You could also circle around more than once if you wanted another look.nnThey are very serious about keeping the windows closed though, so be aware.nnThe walking portion was good as well, but more like a normal zoo with a lot less animals. It was nice to walk around through. The jaguars were the most impressive, but to get to them you have to go through the gift show AND the restaurant, which was a little annoying. Both jaguars (one spotted and one black) were impressive and hung out by the windows, so we got a REALLY close view of them.nnAfter the walking part we decided we wanted to go for another drive around and got to see the animals in different places and doing different things, which was neat.nnOverall, well worth the price of entrance.
So great! So many animals! I enjoyed driving around the large enclosures and seeing the animals up close. You can drive around as many times as you want. Definitely try to go later in the day when it isn't as busy and it's feeding time. The bears in particular love munching on their corn and apples. Walking around to see the smaller enclosures was also nice. There are food stands and a restaurant where you can buy alcohol and a wide range of foods. Be prepared to spend a good amount of money though on food; it's expensive!
