R Lazy J Wildlife Ranch

This place is amazing! The tour guides were awesome, patient and kind! Feeding the animals was the highlight to my little girls' day! The camel named Christmas was a hoot! Our favorite part was feeding the lemurs! 1 on 1 time with the 2 lemurs was beyond amazing! Mama had 2 babies attached to her and was so nice the whole time and let my daughter pet them multiple times without getting defensive! This place was amazing and well worth the $$ I spent. Oh, please put sun block on, my boyfriend, daughter and I got sunburned.

My family and I loved this zoo! We went up to Eager for a small family vacation from Mesa and this was the highlight of our trip! The people are very kind and knowledgeable about the animals and on the tour you get to interact with a good amount of the animals. Would totally go again!

This zoo is great! Perfect to visit from Pinetop. We went on a Thursday and it wasn’t crowded, we felt like we were on a private tour almost. The kids loved getting to feed and pet so many animals. My favorite was the camel! The staff were perfectly laid back but also very clear about when to view from a far versus when we could pet things. The guide really seemed to know the animals personalities so well.

We extended our stay in Greer just so we could book a tour at R Lazy J Wildlife Ranch, we also booked the sloth and lemur encounters. What an amazing experience! We got to hand feed and touch so many animals that you'd normally only see from the other side of a barrier. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and so friendly.nnThis was by far the most memorable animal experience we've ever had, my kids haven't stopped talking about it. We were in Greer for some snow play but this ended up being the hands-down highlight of the vacation. If you are anywhere near Eagar, AZ the R Lazy J Ranch is a MUST see!

My daughter and I visited this past Saturday 9/5/2020 and I was very impressed. Much more than I expected from viewing the website. I wish I could remember our tour guides name because she deserves much accolades! Very, very kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend visiting. We will definitely return. Thank you very much.
