What a great trail this one was. We did 2 miles exactly from start to finish. Taking beautiful pics along the way. Lots of old mining structures to see. Beautiful aspens just turned colors. Highly recommend this. The trail itself was not hard. Very cool.

A phenomenal trail showcasing the history of gold mining in the area. Absolutely worth visiting.

It is always good to walk through history and smell the fresh air. I love hearing the sounds of the Active Gold Mine up above and seeing all of these great buildings from times past.

Great trail with beautiful views and so much history! Starting at the parking lot, you can go to the trail on the right for the historic houses or the trail on the left for the mine. Either way, it goes in a loop back to the parking lot. There’s a few hills but it’s an easy hike.

Awesome trail with relatively little elevation gain making it great for younger kids and families. As a bonus the mining ruins and historical markers signs give this an educational bent with a museum vibe. Be aware there is little to no shade, and parking can get tight later in the day on weekends. Portapotty at the trailhead, only about 5 minutes to downtown Victor.
