Great small museum. Hard to say if the Pikes Peak race exhibits and info or the carriage collection were more interesting. We'll have to get back to the museum again someday.

Good variety of pieces and the volunteers had really interesting stories about the family to tell! I've been visiting Co Springs for years and had never heard of the family, a great way to spend an hour or so

Very well maintained exhibits with lots of information provided on reader boards mounted at the exhibits.nI had been to the top of Pikes Peak the previous day - the Pikes Peak exhibit in the museum was the icing on the cake after my drive up to the top of the mountain. I love museums and I could have stayed here all day reading, observing, taking photos, etc. I hope I can come back!

This is a small museum, but we loved it. Lots of Pike Peak Hill Climb race memorabilia. Plus, its free.

Newly reopened due to covid with limited dates and times to visit. The museum is free along with parking but you must call the number on the web site to reserve a visit. There are no guided tours due to covid but Sarah who met me at the door answered my few questions I had and the museum is very organized with detailed information throughout. It's a small museum but full of Penrose's carriages used throughout the era and the full history of The Race to the Clouds. That is the race to Pikes Peak which started in 1916. So if you love history
