Walking Mountains Science Center

We took the nature walk today with our two boys (3 and 5 yrs). We had a great time. They loved snowshoeing and our guide was so good at engaging with them and teaching them about the native animals. The inside staff was friendly and knowledgeable too. What a wonderful place! We have enjoyed it twice now with our family. Thank you!

We visit every time we’re in town. We absolutely love the guided nature walk it’s so informative adults and kids enjoy it. The guided hike is an hour and 1/2 a mile. There is are many stops long the way where the guide stops and gives information. We will be back!

Today we went on a hike with Nathan for the Shrine Ridge Trail hike. We had an absolutely amazing experience and Nathan was very professional, inclusive, and engaging in his approach. He was very knowledgeable about the wildflowers and made our experience so amazing. He really did a great job and I was a little sad when it came to a close because I didn’t want it end and was enjoying learning so much. It was such a beautiful hike. We really enjoyed this guided tour and would highly recommend Walking Mtns and Nathan!

This is a great place to have a guided hike. You can have the hike tailored to your exertion level, and the nature views are wonderful. Scott was our guide, and he was knowledgable and extremely patient with our high energy kids.

The Naturalist led a fun nature walk for three family groups. Very engaging with a group of kids ranging from age 2-11.
