This used to be Golden State Middle school and the only reason it isn't anymore is because in general students had bad test scores the school was about to be permanently shut down. Teachers did what they could with the material they had but better books and some staff improvements could have made a difference.

One star is already too much for this school. I have to say, this is the worst school in the district. I attended this school when it was only a middle school and had no problems but then again that was over 15 years ago. My children Have had nothing but trouble trying to fit in here. Whoever came up with the idea of having middle schoolers in the same school as elementary students must not have kids of their own or does not care about the safety of children. The vice principle who deals with all student misbehavior does not know how to manage the student let alone the school. Twenty-eight days into the new school year and my second grader was thrown to the ground and choked by a 7th grader who is said to be a notorious bully and the only thing they were going to do was talk to this child and his parents and follow their steps of problem solving within their student guide book. You have got to be kidding me! This school is ridiculous and has no morals or values. They say the students safety is their top priority? Their paycheck is their only priority! It is said to be an anti-bullying school but the bullies run the school. Sadly, many staff I have spoken with are just as disgusted with their superior as I am but it’s their job and it’s what pays their bills. Please save your children from this horrid school.

Worst school! The pick and drop off are a complete disorganized mess. The teachers are rude when confronted and the principal doesn't ever respond to emails. The school is way behind in academics and filled with bullies. Horrible experience.

JOKE. STAFF IS A JOKE! They wont even return your phone calls and constsntly have half days. Had to pull my son out

This is the best school I have ever been to but now I'm in bridgeway it suck I miss all my friends all my teachers and my grandma it is the funniest place in the world you guys would love it their
