An amazing preservation of history containing even deeper knowledge of the area within. When perusing the interesting artifacts and articles you might find yourself imagining life as it was back then and within the hand placed log walls of this historic cabin is the best place to do it. Couple this with the amazing scenery around and the frequent events and activities held on the grounds and you have a museum that you may never want to leave.
It's closed when we went there but this awesome guy named Stu accommodated and allowed us to enter! He even told us the story behind this Museum. Thank you Stu!
The tour guide was really nice. I enjoyed his company and I enjoyed the history lesson he he gave.
Great historical pictures, could use or show the development of the town from the 70s on. More people need to contribute their old photographs of the town.
After decades of visiting Mammoth we finally got our buns over to visit this great little museum in an awesome log cabin. Would loved to have been able to see the upstairs too (was off limits). Definitely worth a visit.
