Champions at George Martin Elementary

The team at Champions has been an incredible part of my daughter's growth in elementary school. They make us feel confident and comforted when we cannot be available before and after school. Each team member knows her name (and even my son who does not attend) and her unique interests and skills. The teachers have been with the program for several years and continue to grow the program into an essential service for families.nnEach week is planned with thoughtful and engaging lessons and activities. Thematic units are shared through a weekly newsletter with detailed enrichment suggestions and connections to learning goals. They allow students to facilitate clubs for reading, arts and crafts, hobbies, and more. Each day, they welcome her with positive messages and thank for her participating at pick up. The summer camp programs are highly interactive and a welcome time to enjoy the outdoors. Many activities are planned for evenings, such as storytelling or STEAM lab nights.nnMy wife and I would not know what to do without the wonderful team at the Martin Elementary School Champions program. l can truly champion their program because my daughter looks forward to the time she spends with both the teaching staff and her peers. Champions is a wonderful program! I was so hesitant to send my kindergartner to an after school program but Champions has put my fears at ease. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The site director is amazing and always responds to any needs/questions in a timely manner. The program is educational and my daughter always comes home with great stories! I recommend this program for all students!
