Newport Artillery is a great way to spend a day. There is something for everyone at the museum! Authentic uniforms, one of a kind weapons and memorabilia, original art work and even Claiborne Pell's sweater. A very knowledgeable staff, they give a great guided tour - or just walk around and see one of the places that makes Newport unique! Hard working volunteers open the doors and roll out a genuine Paul Revere Cannon, gladly donated to keep the doors open! Thank you!

Really cool place w knowledgeable staff that loves what they do. They fire old style historical cannons several times monthly. This museum is a place worth visiting and a short walk from downtown, runs on donations otherwise free.
