Woke up cold this morning - no heat. Called Perrysburg Heating and was told they are extremely busy because of the weather, but they would have someone out today. In less than an hour we received a call from Dave who said he would arrive in about 20 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the issue and left to obtain the replacement parts. He returned in less than an hour and had our furnace soon working again. Our home is now nice an warm. and all well before noon. We love how professional and courteous everyone at Perrysburg Plumbing, Heating & Air conditioning has always been. how they never come into our home with dirty shoes.. they always put on the paper booties. Problems have always been quickly diagnosed and repaired. We cannot speak highly enough of this company and all of the folks that work there.

I called and said that my faucet in the kitchen would not stop dripping. The plumber that came out last year said to just turn the handle a certain way which never worked. I told the lady in the office what kind of faucet it was and the plumber actually brought the exact part that was needed and fixed it in about 2 minutes. I put myself through all that for a year when all I had to do was call the best plumber around. Too bad I didn't know sooner. Thank you so much. I am very happy about calling.

My thermostat started failing and the new one I purchased was having issues. I called in the afternoon and they were able to send someone out the same day. Zach was friendly, knowledgeable, and had my issues fixed in under an hour. He even installed the new thermostat!

I used this company once five years ago on an emergency AC repair that turned out to be a faulty breaker. The tech was very nice and just charged me the standard call out, not the emergency rate.nnI brought them in again a month ago to repair my boiler that was not acting well. Long story short, the tech had some concerns and started moving me towards a complete replacement. The concern was a controller was bad and it was no longer produced. The total replacement cost was a hair under $20K, and that was after I spent $1,000 to mitigate asbestos in the vicinity of the boiler in anticipation.nnThere were also concerns related to how the boiler was venting, but I'm confident that was not a real issue and just an error on the part of the tech. There was a significant amount of smoke when we first fired the boiler up after the first repair attempt, that made him think the boiler was faulty. I think it was just dust and debris burning off at the beginning that accumulated during the repair. I've been running the boiler for over a month with a smoke and CO detector above it with zero issue. This was another issue that made them think whole replacement would be the way to go, and this was an error.nnBeing a bit shell shocked by the quote, I googled the part number on the front of this controller and the first link was a replacement controller from Honeywell for $150 off Amazon. I bought it and it shipped to me in a week. I changed it out, and all is functioning perfectly.nnThe service/repair that was performed was very high quality, and I was pleased with that. They are also very prompt. On top of that, they are one of the few companies who work on residential steam boilers. That said, I don't think enough effort was put into sourcing another part to repair the existing boiler and they rushed to tossing the baby out with the bath water. I chalk it up to an honest mistake, but it's worth being aware of.nnI'll certainly be bringing them back for future work, but with a cautious stance.
