DO NOT RENT FROM THEM you will have issues. I rent from Oaks and the people they put in charge are not professional. I have had to call the cops many times due to the management/landlords don't care. Also unethical relationships between Management and Tenants.

I turned in my application for one of their rentals today, after they went out of their way to get me a showing yesterday. It was such a different experience than what I'd come to expect. Google has their location marked as across the street from where it actually is, so finding it took a few minutes. Once I went inside though, they verified my information, assured me they'd know soon and were very accommodating in general.nI was struck by how friendly they were. My daughter came with me and they incorporated her into our conversations flawlessly. They made a friend for life when they gave her candy... and really took the stress off of me. Nancy and Darlene do a wonderful job of making everyone feel welcome.nI've been so used to being treated like I was completely replaceable and interchangeable that having their full attention and courtesy. Whether I get this rental or not, I'm glad I had such a refreshing experience.

I had called them this past Friday to mention that I had 3 pieces of property I would like them to list or sell for me. They turned me over to a Darlene and said she would be willing to help. I mentioned that I lived about and hour and a half from them but the the 3 parcels were in Canton. We made an appointment to see each other Saturday, January 12th at 10:00 am. I got there early, as it was rather hard to find their building. They have no signs out front and their building is wedged between others. I did get there at 9:56 am and waited until 10:40, but no one showed. I called her cell number and it wouldn't take any messages. I didn't get any phone call from her, even as of today, Sunday. I have been in sales for over 40 years and I know how important it is to keep your word and follow up with customers at all costs. I know things can come up from time to time, but I also feel that there is no excuse not to call someone when you have to break an appointment. I drove a total of 3.5 hours , round trip, to get there and locate them, and it was all for nothing, not to mention the gas and wear and tear on any vehicle. Since I live so far away, I would need to depend on better communication from a company that you are trying to do business with. This was an easy decision to move forward and work with their competition. I would hope a manager there will consider this as a lost opportunity. ........ Buzz Kerchelich
