Lived here for two years. There are pros and cons to every renting situation. Remington Station is a nice place to live in general, and the location is convenient being close to the Strip, and to Belden, although the intersection of Quail Hill and Frank can be a pain, depending on what time you are commuting.nnRent rates are higher than if you lived on the other side of 77, being adjacent to a university will do that. Our rent went up yearly, from $855 (with pet rent) to $955, year 1 to year 2. It'll depend on the exact unit your rent, but expect it to go up yearly.nnMindy is an excellent landlady, extremely helpful, flexible and understanding to resident needs, handles complaints and maintenance issues efficiently and professionally, and Randy is an excellent maintenance manager. I was locked out in the middle of the night, only had to wait about 15 minutes to get into my apartment at 2AM, can't complain about that. My dishwasher broke and it was replaced the next morning.nnAs for the Townhouses, they're nice self contained units, carpet throughout, bathrooms are roll-vinyl. The two bathroom units have 1 bath, 1 shower stall. Personally I'd choose one of the corner units if they're available, to capitalize on the enclosed space for sitting outside, and storing a grill/bike. We chose not to and I regretted that after seeing how people used that space. Also, the pantry space isn't suitable for storing food really, as it gets quite hot with the furnace, so any dry perishables will stale/mold very quickly.nnCounter space in the kitchens is rather limited, especially if you have a few counter-top appliances, and the appliances are updated as they break, so there's a chance you will get a unit with a range/fridge from the time of original construction, or recently thereafter (Mid 90's to early 00's).nnThe AC is decent if you can balance it properly, but the layout generally leads to an airflow that results in a pretty hot master bedroom in the summer, especially if your room faces east, we got a tower unit and that helped a lot.nnThe pet policy is rather forgiving, 2 pets, cats or dogs, but you will hand over $250 of pet deposit, non refundable, and pay $35/50 extra a month in pet rent, which is pretty standard. Maximum of a 40 pound pet, which for the space is appropriate. Plenty of green space to take the animals out, and the complex is shrouded by pines, that do a lot to block road noise if you live the the road adjacent units.nnAll in all, a decent starter place to live, and Mindy is easy to work with. The only thing that limits the review to a 4, is just the age of the units and updating of the appliances, versus the price point.

Mindy is very nice and helpful! We are moving in soon, so depending on my experience there I'll update this review.
