My mother lived in a 3-bedroom house in Swanton for the past 23 years, the time came for her to downsize, so we all decided it was time to sell the house and move into a smaller apartment. my sister choose to hire her friend and church member as the realtor; Deborah Eastern-Hall. We began the difficult task ofnDownsizing. When we began moving the furniture out of the house, I noticed the walls were stained, but my mother smoked so it was expected, I even mentioned putting a fresh coat of paint to my siblings, but I was ignored. When Deborah came out to the house the first timento take pictures, she didn't seem to think paint was necessary, it wasn't until the house began to show, one of her colleagues pointed out to her that the entire house needed a fresh coat of paint. as a realtor, Deborah should’ve noticed the first time she walked in the house, this troubled me. The first time I met Deborah, was at my mother's house, she showed up to work with her husband, he did as much talking as Deborah and he's not a realtor. My mother met her once and said she wasn't a fan neither. The biggest problem I had with Deborah, is she didn't communicate with my mother, any decision she made or any answer she needed, she went tonmy sister, she acted as though it was my sister's house! My mother was unhappy with her so together we decided to call the office and talknto the broker; Jim Loss, he runs the office, I explained to Jim what was going on and he said he'd address it with Deborah, I think he justnappeased us because in the following weeks nothing changed, everything continued to go through my sister, had we hired a neutral realtor, this would not have happened. If you are on the market to buy or sell, I strongly recommend staying away from Loss Realty, or at a minimum steer clear of Deborah Eastern-Hall, #WORSEREALTOREVER
