Oak Creek at Polaris

So far so good! I moved in today and my experience has been everything I could ask for. My apartment is very nice and up to date. The person in charge of helping me was Yatzary. She was very nice and professional and she did a great job at finding the right fit for me and helping me with the process.

I’ve lived here for one year now and I absolutely hate it. This place is cheap and the renovations do a great job at hiding that. No insulation between 1st and 2nd floors, I am on the second floor and I constantly hear everything they are doing and saying below me. Be extremely cautious if your going to rent here because this place is certainly not worth +$900 a month. Looking back I’d definitely pay a little extra to live somewhere that was built this century. I have no clue how this place has 4-star rating but when you come check it out yourself try and make sure your neighbors are home and you’ll understand what I’m talking about.

My wife and I were looking for a new place to live after graduating college and are so glad we found Oak Creek! Emily and Tim are super nice and upfront about fees/charges. Everything has been super smooth, and the area is very nice and so are the people! Dog park and gym are A+ amenities too. Graduating college, moving to Oak Creek, and getting married last weekend has been such a great season of life for us! Highly recommend living here.

I've been here a couple years now and will be several more months.nnThe good.nn1. Maintenance is responsive. They respond and do their work as quick as they can, follow up and that's it. No hassle.nn2. The area is pretty nice. Good surrounding neighborhood, trails and walking paths. Scenic.nn3. The apartments were clean, new appliances when I moved in. The glass stove top is good, but a bit anxiety inducing because of how careful you have to be with not scratching it. No scratches on my end, but we'll see what happens on move out especially with normal wear and tear.nn4. Apartment office managers are friendly and keep the community up to date on important events.nn5. The door to door recycling is very convenient.nnThe very annoying.nnIf you live on the bottom floor you'll hear everything. EVERY. THING Your upstairs neighbors do. Movies, conversations...god forbid they have and use subwoofers. The general population is pretty young, including myself, but self awareness doesn't exist...nnThe floorboards do creak some places it's not loud, but if they walk on certain boards it's loud. Almost earth shattering, and I am not exaggerating when I say I've been completely startled out of my chair a handful of times expecting someone to fall through the ceiling. It's incredibly loud. These apartments were built on toothpicks....apartments down at OSU apparently have had better build quality for half the price.nnSo if you're a light sleeper or even a mid-light sleeper...you will risk your glorious 8 hours and forget about sleeping in. Snoring vibrations travel. As do phone alarm sounds/vibrations.nnAnd if they're a couple? Well....for the sake of a PG review let's just say you'll hear everything you've never wanted to hear at night (I'm writing this at 3AM) and probably first thing in the morning right above your bed. :)nnBasically prepare to invest in a weighted blanket, sound machine, ear plugs or sleep drugs to be functional the next day.nnSo...if you live on the first floor, you'll hear it all.nnIf you live on the second floor... Your lower level neighbors hear everything you do.
