Liberty House

The location is great as it is not super in the city but right next to the highway as well shopping being 10 min away, surrounded by restaurants and krogers is 5 minutes if even. The apartment was clean and comfortable upon move in and we even got a welcome basket which was so sweet! Its pretty quiet, I can't always hear people I live with in the other room nevermind our neighbors. The pool area is comfortable, clean and fun. The gym is 24/7 and clean such a great amenity. In unit W/D was a selling point for me.

So far so good! Liberty House staff has been nothing but friendly and welcoming. The apartments are clean and updated. Maintenance request have been prompt and any issues we may have have been resolved. Great area to live with lots of entertainment, food, and shopping! The community is welcoming and relatively quiet, we highly recommend.

Between me and my significant other, we’ve lived in over a dozen apartments and Liberty House apartments have some of the best layouts we’ve seen. There’s very little wasted space and I adored the kitchen. The amenities were excellent. The maintenance staff responded in a timely manner.nnThe apartments also have a great location with lots of food within walking distance.nnAs much as I’d love to give this complex a stellar review for all that, I can’t. There are two major flaws that you should be aware of before you rent here. Flaws that only popped up in the last few months when the apartments became fully occupied.nnThe first issue is parking. While we have never not found a parking space, there have been many times where we took one of the last two and I wouldn’t be shocked to hear that other residence have had worse luck. The complex simply was not designed to handle a full resident load and there’s absolutely no place for guests to park. Luckily, covid meant that wasn’t an issue, but before covid, we used to host a monthly get together with some friends that would have been impossible to manage with the parking as it is. Note that this is only true in the evenings. If you look at the complex before, say, seven or eight at night, the parking situation appears fine. Once evening hits, though, the place is packed. I’ve had to park on the other side of the complex from my apartment on more than one occasion. I was always anxious about parking when coming home late at night.nnThe other issue is the noise. I have no idea what is wrong with these apartments, but neither me nor my partner have ever had this level of noise issues. People come into the complex blaring their base or revving motorcycle engines at all hours of the day and you can hear it clearly though the windows. Even the sound of people talking on their way to their apartment comes through loud and clear. Basically, any noise in the parking lot can be heard by everyone.nnIf anyone is out on their porch talking, you can hear that, too. We had neighbors who, for some reason, thought nightly hangouts from 11pm to 3am were fine. Also, either our neighbors had an insane sound system or you can literally hear music anytime someone choses to play it. We had many sleepless nights due to these issues.nnThere’s also an ongoing, bizarre issue where one of the neighbors leaves their dog’s fecal matter in bags stored out in the stairway, but at least it’s not being left uncollected. The complex seemed to be on these type of issues pre-covid, but during the time of the plague, they’ve backed off a bit (understandable, imo), but that does mean people are being less responsible with their pets.nnSo, if you are deaf or don’t mind noise and you don’t like to have people over, then definitely check these apartments out. If noise is a big concern for you, look elsewhere. If you like to have people over, make sure that you give them a backup place to park. The parking next to the Marcus theater is usually quite empty and isn’t that far of a walk.

These apartments were rushed and cheaply built. Our patio door didn’t latch until my husband fixed it. We had horrible mold problems. It took us 3 months just to get a mail key. There were just way too many problems for “luxury style apartments” and we never had a good experience with management. There is a new manager now so maybe she will be better than what we had. The apartments look nice and there is a a lot of space but I would never rent from them again.

From the tour to our move-in, staff were amazing! Maintenance requests are answered and looked into in a timely manner. Community is quiet and so far our neighbors are friendly. ud83dudc4dud83cudffc
