Just wanted to give a shout out to Richard H.......he’s part of the maintenance staff and amazing. He’s attentive and on time. Our issues are always fixed quickly and with professionalism. He’s always got a treat for my dogs!

Problem - light bulb under microwave needing replaced.nCompletion timing - excellentnKnowledge of assigned repair person for the job - excellentnClean-up after job completion - excellentnSatisfaction of work order completion - not so good. Reason - the newly installed bulb wasn't much brighter then the burnt out bulb needing replaced. Very sad when you have to turn on another light so you can find the light switch to shut off the newly replaced bulb.

Listed 5 items for repair. Three were repaired, the sink in bathroom still will, not hold water and when you shut the refrigerator door the freezer door pops open, Still need these items fixed. The lady who took our request was very helpful and pleasant, we were not here when maintenance person came in.

I do appreciate the maintenance team at Redwood Canal! Richard did a great job in helping with my patio/ grass area. He and the team are responsive and on top of things!

I absolutely will not recommend Redwood to any friends or family. We stayed here for 7 months. The neighbors and community was great. The staff was horrible. Our refrigerator broke within the first few months and we lost over $400 in food. Staff only agreed to reimburse $100 of it. I had my disabled father visiting during the winter and kindly asked if they could remove the ice and they agreed but never showed. I ended up going out with table salt and rubbing alcohol to try and remedy it but it was still very slick and he needed assistance. The fan in our second bath never worked they just ignored the maintenence request. The pricing is outrageous. Our home took longer to complete than expect due to covid so we had to go month by month. They increased the rent an extra $500 a month to do this. We never received any kind of instructions for preparing our apartment for moving out even though I requested several times. We never received any follow up from staff about our deposit until 3 weeks after moving in to our new home which we received A BILL for over $600 and NO DEPOSIT claiming our dogs destroyed the carpet. Yes we had two dogs but they NEVER soiled the carpet and the apartment was in perfect condition when we left. For some reason I am not able to attach these photos here...I have emailed them to the manager and claims department... no response yet.. I am dumbfounded. I have been trying to call staff all day and no one is answering me. It does not let me leave a message, it just hangs up. I am seriously disappointed and feel we are being taken advantage of since we were short term leasers. This is insane.
