They will never fix any appliances or things that break that the owners are responsible to fix. The hallways are always dirty and no one ever cleans then..The person responsible for maintance is lazy and a joke. They move people in without cleaning their apartments and the smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are not maintained or replaced. When it snows no one goes over and removes the snow from sidewalks or lot.nI'm not sure how landlords or owners can get away with this but it seems to becoming the norm.

Since moving in I have ran into many issues. The property isn't managed well in the aspect of maintnance and integrity. We have many issues with the ceiling of our apartment unit as well as the building itself, we have a hole in the bathtub that continues to our downstairs neighbors bathroom where there is a hole exposing the boards. The fire extinguisher which was used in March hasn't been recharged even after letting the landlord know several times that it needed done. On top of that the washer and drier go out/dont work quite frequently; the last time this happened he was notified first on July 11th by a tenant then by many others thereafter, and the appliance guy had no clue until August 4th when he promptly came to fix it. Prior to that (in the same month timespan) Zoul himself came to take quarters from the washer/drier, saw our out of order sign on the washer, threw it away and told us it still worked.... How would he know??? There was a note then put up saying that we need to stop opening the washer before it is done (which is impossible to do as it locks while in use). Also, there is black mold in most of the units if not all. Oh and lets not forget about the water damage making ceilings bubble. Addjtionally, the cleaning lady came today and took down our recently put up fly strips to help reduce the amount of flies in and outside the building. Lastly, it is not stated in the lease that we cannot be outside in our chairs and kids toys... we were told that if it continues our leases would be terminated.
