Nebraska State Patrol Troop C

My son had an injury at school. I picked him up from the school and was headed to the hospital. I called the state patrol to let them know that I would be speeding and if they would offer an escort that would be fine. if instead they chose to ticket me I was willing to accept that as well but I wasn't going to stop until I was at the hospital. Rather than offer an escort they sent an officer to the school to interrogate his teacher. My son had an accident nobody was at fault; he was six at the time. The mentality is to be serve and protect, not interrogat and prosecute. This was a premier opportunity for the state patrol to be their best, but rather they pursued placing fault on an accident. I am absolutely infuriated. Be better Nebraska State patrol. I love that you guys persue crime, however I am disgusted the effort do the right thing in this moment. I can only hope that you will issue an apology to the school and those that you accused without any justification.

I was driving beside a state trooper this morning in Kearney eastbound on west 11th street. I got cut off abruptly by a car turning right on to 11th from a residential. The state trooper didnt skip a beat, slowed down to stay behind and flicked his lights on to pull them over. Keep up the great work!

We drive past numerous highway information boards Friday. Not one had any info that the interstate was closed. Instead, Nebraska generated a massive traffic fiasco. This could have resulted in secondary accidents making a bad event even worse.

I was pulled over for no reason.

There are only 2 types of officers -n1) LEOs who break laws to enforce lawsn2) ethical LEOs who give criminals enough rope to hang themselves.nnI've worked with federal law enforcement officers. I know my rights. NE troopers need additional training or the agency needs new managementnnNebraska seems to have alot of type 1 LEOs. Afterall, NSP did cover up Nasser style medical exams of female troopers.nnNOT IMPRESSED.
