Amazing building, only 1 floor of exhibits and a few rooms are closed so it doesn't feel huge compared to the Walker or MIA. It's free, and I felt like the main attraction is the building itself. Exhibits typically change every school semester. Very friendly and helpful staff, I found the best view of the building from the Washington Avenue Bridge. Parking underneath the building was easy and only $3. Capacity is limited due to covid but wasn't an issue when I visited.
So many cool events and educational outreach, with a commitment to social and environmental causes.
I remember being here in person before COVID. They have pretty nice exhibits with some new art from time to time. It’s free to students. For COVID, I saw that they have are offering a virtual walk through tour of the place through zoom, which I thought was neat.
Take out pizza picnic down by the river @ the U. of Minnesota.nnAm I sensing the ghost of Chris Farley?
Its not a huge exhibit but it's great! And it's free!nTook maybe an hour.
