Highland Elementary School

The way your year goes depends on your teacher. I was not a huge fan of the clerks or the food oh my goodness the food was disgusting. In 5th grade I’d give this 1 star but to be honest the level of nostalgia when I walk in there is suuuper high

Ok let’s be real here I’m an 8th grader right now and honestly I’m glad to be out of highland elementary for one reason the art teacher first let me say most of my teachers were amazing I love mrs scheruing hopefully spelled it right she is my favorite teacher ever and uh yea the lunch food was ok but overall the lunchroom itself was terrible we had to sit alphabetical order and the lunchroom feels like prison honestly like recess and lunch are the only talk breaks and lunch they give you only fifteen minutes to eat that’s not enough and on top of sitting alphabetically order we had screaming clearks telling us we’re too loud and we will get a discipline warning if we talk it’s so unreal. now for the art teacher I got the worst grade from mrs Hanson I remember drawing something she told us to do and I was trying my best and she comes right over to me and picks my drawing up without asking and says to the whole class this is an example of what not to do I was so embarrassed I ugh haunts me and also fifth grade was a tough year because every day these group of kids in my class used to call me gay and a girl. now they were right about the gay part but it was rude anyway but the art teacher practically screams the directions at us and she talks for half the class and we barley get things done and then she blames it on us saying we were talking but she was the one who wasted our time I like middle school better what a shame highland what a shame step it up

It's ok but the art teacher is a hypocrite because she blames us for talking and she once talked the whole 50min. of class. The food is okay.

Hated the food, loved my 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th grade teachers...I'm not gonna talk about my 5th grade teacher because he picked favorites
