Each Menards is different!! The Long Grove location has a much better selection of lighting fixtures than some if the other locations! Customer service excellent! Easy to find someone for assistance. I didn't have to run all over the store to get help...
I always find great & unique products at Menard's! They have VERY reasonable prices & are ALWAYS less expensive than their competitors. I love their order on-line & pick up option, it's quick & easy! I've always had excellent customer service! I've NEVER had a bad experience shopping at Menards in general, Long Grove is my 'usual' store that I shop at only because it's close to home, but I have shopped at many others & my opinion hasn't wavered.
Just had to pickup a pre-ordered water heater. Service was prompt, even though the heater had not been brought to the pickup bay ahead of time. The employee was quick to grab a forklift and go on to sales floor to grab it. Came back in no time it all and brought it right my car. Slid it in and we were all set to go.
The staff working there always guides to the right product. When asked everybody is eager to assist you. Great customer service.
Waited an hour at the Order Pickup Desk while the ONLY person at the order pickup desk assisted another customer by personally walking him throughout the store to pick out items. The customer being assisted was obviously not there to just pick up an order. No other employee in the area could help. The order pickup employee did not acknowledge any of the customers waiting nor did he call for assistance. Finally a young lady from the building materials department called to have another person assist at the Order Pickup Desk. Once that happened, the three of us waiting for our orders were helped. Two stars only because the pickup was smooth and efficient once it took place, otherwise it would have been minus stars. Unacceptable, Menard's, unacceptable.
