Maryville Police Department

The officers have always been prompt and courteous when I’ve had dealings with them. The dispatcher is really nice, too. Thanks for keeping us safe!

Due to boredom that is exacerbated by still having a few impala police vehicles in use, (which they must think they are too great of a small town police force to be seen driving around in a car a decade old, must hurt their HUGE egos) and the absolute need to have a complete fleet of the newest police cars available (interceptors) this department is extremely desperate to write as many citations and arrest as many citizens (many law-abiding) as they possibly can. I had never been afraid to live anywhere until i moved to Maryville, IL. It's quite a shame too because the town is very charming. if only the police officers were not so bored. this boredom is what causes them to be so aggressive and full-force, by the book without using a drop of discretion. These people are the only outright criminals that I have seen whilst I lived there, they break laws all the time and harass citizens that are minding there own business. If it weren't for all the money they are producing for the state they would have been audited and should still be so. OFC. GESSI and the chief FRANK are the leaders of this organized crime syndicate that does everything to use the constitution to benefit their operations and nothing to protect those rights for the people they are supposed to serve. in this way they have a divine and unchallenged power to rule the town and treat citizens like the dirt on their boots. when I lived there I saw the officers breaking the law EVERY single day (speeding, parking anywhere they want, running lights and stopsigns, and MUCH more... if you would like to know more please ask me, i'm just glad i moved away because just writing this would put me in extreme fear from them, they are the reason i moved after all.
