I’ve always had good experience with this police force a and live there until I was 19. Sgt murdock is a friend of my father beside that I’ve come across other officers there they’ve always been nice or helping every time 911 was called due to my seizures they were either the first or second ones there in a rapid time. Much respect to them. I’ll be moving back there soon and happy to have them as my go to police force. I live in Clearfield now and Clinton PD much better. Thank you Clinton PD
I really feel like my back is against the wall here. I pay my taxes, have no criminal background. Yet the PD in my home town of 28 years feels it necessary to ticket me to the letter, over the weight of my truck. Its not carring hazardous materials, is not too tall wide or long. Just a little heavy. IMO this is because its a fleet vehicle and they know the revenue will come in, or they like to fat shame vehicles. Clinton city ordinances title 16-6-2, weight limit for street parking.
I work on call for a major nationwide towing company, responding from home. I help people for a living, not repo, clean up wrecks and haul DUIs for the police. But I now see the brother in arms feel is onesided.
Where I live is several houses off of the only two truck routes in the city. So now having to park on one of those routes, Ive gone from leaving my house for work in 30 sec. To having to walk 5 min, cross a 25 and a 30 mph road and get into my truck while standing in 30 mph traffic. So now theres more pedestrian traffic at odd hours, my safety is put at risk. As well as increasing the time it takes to respond to motorists in need, leaving them at a hazard stranded for longer than usual. This being said, im not great at legalese, if someone could explain title 16-10-1a thru 16-10-1e that would be great, because i feel like the PD is going against chapter 10 here.
What do I do? Move from the only home ive known, away from my family and hometown?
You guys are abusing the Amber Alert system.
Some of the finest men and women in law enforcement work for Clinton PD we thank them for their service Godspeed
